Red and Golden Wedding Inspiration
The rich golden and red tones pop out from this styled shoot set at Country Tipis in Hitchin in Hertfordshire. This festival themed shoot features our ruby and diamond half hoop engagement ring. Ornately carved half hoop rings were traditionally given in the Victorian era as an engagement ring. Rubies have been worn for centuries and the colour and gem have been intimately associated. The word Ruby derives from the Latin word for red.
The red gem variety of the mineral Corundum is called a Ruby. Rubies can vary in colour from the dark red varieties to pinkish red. Corundum is the hardest mineral known, next to diamond, and is one of the most popular for engagement rings. Featured in Boho Wedding Blog this Autumn.
