This cushion cut sapphire ring in platinum is made in the Art Deco style with baguette cut diamonds on either side of the blue gemstone. The cushion cut was popular more than a century ago and continues to be popular today for its individual look, as no two gemstones are cut exactly the same.
The sapphire is set with four claws, while the diamonds are rubover set and edged by hand with vintage style millegrain, or small beads of platinum. This unique ring would make an eye-catching engagement ring.
