Find Your Something Blue at a Cotswolds Wedding
What a delight, this sky blue wedding shoot, styled and created by Charlotte Ricard-Quesada of La Fete and featured in You & Your Wedding Magazine, is a bold, bright summer celebration.
With a rich colour palette of blues, creams, lilac and metallic stylist and planner, Charlotte Ricard-Quesada is not afraid to blend patterns and styles, “as long as you have a base colour running through.” With blue as the base, Charlotte, with a wonderful team of suppliers, has created a luxurious, vintage vibe.
The Venue
It is easy to see why Charlotte fell in love with Euridge House and Orangery with it stunning grounds with so much to discover from castle ruins to a serene reservoir. Found in the rolling hills of the Cotswolds in the beautiful English countryside, the house is built on the grounds of Sir Walter Raleigh's old hunting lodge. The family home has been beautifully restored to be a magical get-a-way that is available as a wedding venue and other events.
“I fell in love with every corner of Euridge House and Orangery, I wanted to take blue from being an accent tone to being the entire palette, and to meld wild with vintage and luxe with minimal.” Charlotte Ricard-Quesada, La Fete.
The Rings
With such a bold blue colour palette, the subtle pale blue of an aquamarine was the perfect engagement ring for the bride.
Our Bespoke Engagement Ring with our Scalloped Diamond Ring
This bespoke vintage style engagement ring is based on our Cushion Cut Blue Sapphire Engagement Ring. The bespoke ring is set with a one-carat square-cut aquamarine at the centre and scalloped diamond-set split shoulders leading down to a platinum band.
Echoing the silhouette of the delicate scalloped shoulders, the diamond wedding ring has gentle scalloping around the six diamonds that are set across the top of the band.
For an Art Deco silhouette, our 1930s Style Aquamarine and Diamond Ring is an excellent choice. Alluring baguette-cut diamond stepped shoulders lead to a contrasting 1.40 carat emerald-cut aquamarine, creating a characteristic Art Deco geometric profile.
